MTG Cowboy Bebop cards aren’t exclusive to Japan after all, but you might still have a hard time getting them


The recently announced MTG Cowboy Bebop collaboration has anime-loving Magic players on the edge of their seats.While no one expected to see the West's most beloved science fiction novel merged with one of best card game, which certainly doesn’t mean we’re complaining. However, making things even more tragic, the Cowboy Bebop sleeves and playmat ended up being sold only in Japan.

Thankfully, Wizards of the Coast comfirmed Fans around the world will be able to get their hands on a limited edition MTG Cowboy Bebop card featuring the Thunder Junction Outlaws character.In order to have a chance to obtain these cards, you must win a local Standard duel WPN (Wizards Gaming Network) Store.

Each prize card is a traditional foil for a spell in Magic: The Gathering, reimagined in the Thunder Junction Outlaws character art style inspired by Cowboy Bebop. They are also all monochromatic, which means they gradually cover the entire MTG color pie. If you have your eye on one card in particular, you'll have to plan ahead, as every item in the sale will be released on a staggered basis from August 2, 2024, to April 4, 2025.
