Point master

Is it worth it?

According to TPG valuations, 185,000 Bonvoy points are worth a whopping $1,554, which is pretty much the best offer we've seen on this card.

The card also offers great benefits like automatic Bonvoy Platinum Elite membership, annual free night bonus (worth up to 85,000 points, resort fees apply at some hotels), and up to $300 in qualifying annual statement points (up to $25 per month ) shopping at restaurants around the world, Priority Pass lounge access and 25 Elite Qualifying Night Points per year. Certain benefits require registration.

Keep in mind that Marriott's pricing is dynamic, so you may have to work hard to find a hotel where you can take advantage of the free nights. However, you can top up Marriott gift certificates with up to 15,000 points, which means you can use free night awards and bonus points to book stays worth up to 100,000 points.

Marriott Bonvoy Bevy™ American Express Card

annual fee: $250 (see rates and fees)

Welcome offer: Earn 155,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points when you use the card to spend $5,000 in purchases within the first six months of card membership. Offer ends May 1st.

Point master

Is it worth it?

The TPG is worth 155,000 Marriott Bonvoy points for $1,302, which is pretty much the best deal in card history.

The card also offers mid-range benefits, including free Gold Elite membership, solid earning rates at Marriott hotels, and elite stay points. However, it lacks some of the advantages found in mid-range cards. For example, you must spend $15,000 in a calendar year to receive a free night (worth up to 50,000 points, some hotels charge a resort fee). Other Marriott cards with lower annual fees have similar benefits but no spending requirements. Certain benefits require registration.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card

Welcome offer: Get three free night awards (worth up to 50,000 points per night) when you spend $3,000 in the first three months of account opening. Some hotels charge a resort fee.

Point master

Is it worth it?

TPG's three free night awards are valued at $1,260 and can be worth up to 150,000 Marriott Bonvoy points.

If you're a frequent guest at Marriott hotels, this is a great card to add to your wallet, and it doesn't come cheap. When you stay at Marriott Boundless, you'll receive a host of benefits, including automatic Bonvoy Silver membership and 15 elite-qualifying nights per year. You also earn one point for every $5,000 you spend toward the next level of elite status, and you can reach Gold Elite status by spending $35,000 on the card in a year.

Perhaps the most valuable perk is the annual free night bonus on every account anniversary (worth up to 35,000 points), although Marriott's lack of a bonus chart may prevent you from taking advantage of this bonus.

Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card

annual fee: $125 (see rates and fees)

Welcome offer: Earn three free night awards after you spend $6,000 in qualifying purchases with your new card within the first six months of card membership. At participating Marriott Bonvoy hotels, each additional free night award is redeemable at a redemption level of up to 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. Some hotels charge a resort fee.

Point master

Is it worth it?

According to our estimates, this welcome offer is worth up to $1,260.

With this card, you automatically earn Gold Elite status in Marriott Bonvoy, which offers up to 7% off on qualifying reservations made directly through participating Marriott hotels and savings for every $1 spent at restaurants worldwide Earn 4 points.

The card also comes with 15 Elite Night Points per year (which stacks with the Marriott Bonvoy Spending Card) and free night bonuses per year (worth up to 35,000 points). Additionally, you can earn a second free night (also worth up to 35,000 points) after you spend $60,000 on your card in a calendar year.

Marriott's move to dynamic pricing could make it more difficult to use those rewards. Still, you should be able to find participating properties that can cover your annual fee (and then some), as our data shows the program still offers great value.

Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card

annual fee: $0

Welcome offer: You can earn 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points when you use the card to spend $1,000 within three months of account opening.

Point master

Is it worth it?

According to TPG valuation, 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are worth $252. Based on previous offer history, we've seen welcome offers of up to 100,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, so we highly recommend waiting for higher offers to appear.

The card also comes with 15 Elite Stay Points each year (earning you automatic Elite Silver status). However, this benefit will end on July 10th.

It also has no foreign transaction fees.

Earn 3 points per $1 spent at Marriott hotels, 2 points per $1 spent on all other travel purchases (as of July 10), and 2 points per $1 spent elsewhere Take 1 point.

That's a solid set of benefits for a card with no annual fee. However, frequent Marriott guests might be better off with a credit card that offers more perks during each stay.

Marriott Bonvoy Rich Credit Card

Welcome offer: Earn 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy points when you spend US$4,000 within three months of account opening.

Point master

Is it worth it?

TPG's 85,000 Marriott Bonvoy points are worth $714.

American Express issues the Bevy card, and this card is from Chase. The benefits on both cards are essentially the same, which means this card's benefits hardly justify its $250 annual fee. However, you might be interested in a welcome bonus.

Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful Credit Card information is independently collected by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Can you apply for more than 1 Marriott card offer?

If you're interested in multiple Marriott card offers, you can indeed have more than one open Marriott card — some TPG employees have two or three. It makes sense to take advantage of annual Anniversary Award Nights and the 15-25 Elite Nights that accumulate rewards through individual and small business Marriott cards. (The Bold will lose its 15-game Elite Night offer on July 10.)

Marriott

However, since new applicants have a total of six Marriott cards, there are some restrictions on who can get the welcome offer from the available cards — especially since the cards are issued by American Express and Chase.

Please note that these limits are in addition to Chase's 5/24 rule (applicable to new applicants for the Bonvoy Boundless, Bonvoy Bold, and Bonvoy Bountiful cards) and Amex's once-for-life bonus rule (applicable to the Bonvoy Brilliant, Bonvoy Business, and Bonvoy Bevy cards) ).

Please make sure you qualify for these offers before applying.
