Party Cards for 2024 – Destructoid

A lot of strange things happened Magic: The Gathering crossover, but if you showed me cards based on virtual idol superstar Hatsune Miku, I would assume they were fake if Wizards didn't post them on their website.

Officially announced, a full set of Hatsune Miku themes Magic: The Gathering Cards will be launched in the coming months as secret lair series.The first batch, titled Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, will launch on May 13th for $29.99 (non-foil) and $39.99 (rainbow foil), but will only be available until June 2nd. The cards are hoarded and sold for a hefty sum on sites like eBay.

There will be four Hatsune Miku drops in 2024, each representing a different season.The announcement only provides details Sakura Superstar A batch consists of the following six cards:

  • harmonious
  • Inspiring Advantages
  • Miku, lost but singing (same as Azusa, lost but seeking)
  • Famous Miku (same as Redeemer Feather)
  • Miku's Spark (same as Chandra's Ignition)
  • shelter

As you can see, half of the cards are just Hatsune Miku variations of existing cards, but they have some fantastic art (I particularly like the look of the Inspiring Vantage cards), and for those of you who like cards, They are a good choice. Plus, it would be fun to have her on the deck. MTGown fantasy idols and other crossover characters such as Doctors doctor who and The Walking DeadIt's Negan.
