robbery is a new keyword ability that allows you to target your opponent and look at three random nonland cards in their library, exiling one face down. You can cast it as long as the card is exiled, and you can spend any type of mana to cast it.

Alchemy cards are simply added to packs as new slots (do not replace anything), making each pack one more card.

Mechanics

New Alchemy: Thunder Nexus mechanics:

  • robbery is a new keyword ability that allows you to target your opponent and look at three random nonland cards in their library, exiling one face down. You can cast it as long as the card is exiled, and you can spend any type of mana to cast it.

Alchemy’s purely digital mechanics:

  • Juggle: Cards are created out of thin air as digital objects that behave like regular cards (compared to tokens).
  • Look for: Cards with this mechanic will cause the game to randomly select a card from the library that meets the criteria specified on the card and put it into your hand.
  • Perpetually moving: Permanently change the properties of cards, whether they are in exile, the graveyard, the hand, or the battlefield.
  • Spelling book: Summon one of three randomly selected (draft) cards from the card's spellbook.
  • strength: Cards with a strength will start out in strength at a specific value, and the card's text will include mechanics to permanently increase or decrease its strength as the game progresses.
  • grace: Boons are a way of indicating a delayed trigger, similar to badges, but once triggered, they disappear.
