Amazon is giving away a free $100 gift card if you buy Google's cheap new product — but don't miss out on the 'limited' deal

Amazon is offering a generous gift card if you buy Google's new budget smartphone.

The Google Pixel 8a is available now, and consumers can claim a $100 free gift if they purchase it from Amazon.

Google launched a “premium” version of Pixel 8a earlier this month feature and mid-range prices.

You'll pay $499 for the phone itself, which isn't bad considering how many modern smartphones cost well over $1,000 these days.

The Amazon deal, which includes the gift card, is listed as a $599 bundle, priced at $499.

But Amazon notes that this is a “limited time offer,” so it's worth grabbing it as soon as possible if you want it.

Pixel 8A explained

Google says its new Android phones offer “unparalleled value.”

The company wrote: “Google Pixel 8a is here! Powered by our latest Google Tensor G3 chip.

“It comes with many of the same must-have AI features as the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, such as GeminiBest Shots, Audio Magic Eraser and more.

Its display is 40% brighter than the Pixel 7a and has a 120Hz update rate for smooth scrolling.

Google is offering a free upgrade to Android phone owners that will change text messaging forever — but there's a trick to getting it

According to Google, the new AI photo and video tools include:

  • best choice Lets you create the group photo you want. Choose from a range of photos the expression you think best suits each person.
  • magic editor Allows you to reposition and resize your subject, or use presets to make your background stand out – all with just a few taps.
  • Audio Magic Eraser Easily remove distracting sounds like wind, crowds, and other noise from your videos for crisp, clear audio.

You'll get up to 8x ultra-high-resolution zoom, with Real Tone accurately capturing and displaying skin tones.

The device launches on May 14, and Amazon's $100 gift card deal is one of the best deals around.

Google Pixel Battery Tips – Official Guide

Here are Google's official tips for Pixel owners on how to keep your battery charged longer…

Tip 1: Let your phone close apps you are not using.

Tip 2: Keep your phone and apps up to date. With each new iteration, the app becomes more efficient, solving bugs and glitches that use unnecessary power.

Tip 3: Turn down the brightness. Lowering your phone's brightness protects your eyes while also saving battery. You can also set your phone to a dark theme, which turns the background to black. It consumes less power and reduces eye strain.

Tip 4: Know which apps and activities consume battery. Pixel users should know which activities drain the most battery power. Video calls and games top the list. Users should also close applications that are open but not in use.
