This is just part of the Tamarack North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Whiskey and Wine Tasting on Thursday, May 23.

Admission is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members. Complimentary appetizers will be provided. The restaurant also offers a cash bar and full menu. The tasting event includes raffles and interactive activities.

Peter Mason, the chamber's executive director, said the chamber will continue to offer a tasting theme to the community after the Woodmont Country Club hosted a successful “Bourbon” event last December.

“It brings people and businesses together,” Mason said. “People can come and chat and exchange business cards.”

The tasting event will also feature educational content about whiskey and wine, themed music and bar questions during the tasting Music by Ed.

“Learn about the origins, how to make it and what to put together,” Mason said, adding that the event serves as a business card exchange for business professionals and residents.

When asked to name the specialty wines and spirits attendees will taste, Mason said “Mom.” “It was a surprise,” he said.

Held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. woodmont country club7801 NW 80 Ave., Tamarack.

Mason asked those interested to RSVP by Wednesday by calling the chamber at 945-722-1420 or visiting their offices website.
