Florida ranks in top three for number of Domino's stores in the U.S.


We all know how much the people of Tampa Bay love their pizza. We have it all, from local mom-and-pop shops to national chains that draw inspiration from different parts of the country. Today, we're going to take a look at how Florida ranks among the top three states with the most Domino's locations in the United States.

Before food prices skyrocketed, and you could still take advantage of specials on your favorite fast food, Domino's reigned supreme. Remember the 555 deal? Three medium pizzas for $5 each? These daily deals were hard to beat, and the commercials were awesome too.

Things have changed a bit now, but the pizza still tastes the same, and ordering online is a lot cheaper than ordering over the phone. Times have changed.

Throughout the state of Florida, you'll find pizza chains such as Hungry Howey's, Marco's Pizza, Little Caesars (Pizza Pizza), Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and of course, Domino's Pizza. But exactly how many Domino's Pizza locations are there in Florida?

Which US state has the most Domino's stores?

Texas ranks first in Domino's locations with 742, nearly 300 more than Florida. California comes in second with 591 locations, accounting for 9% of the total Domino's locations in the United States.

Now, Florida. Florida has the third most Domino's locations in the United States. With 473 Domino's locations, Florida accounts for 7% of the total number of Domino's locations in the U.S., and is only four locations fewer than Taco Bell. In Florida, there is roughly one Domino's for every 45,408 people.

Which Florida city has the most Domino's stores in the United States?

It's pretty clear that Texas, California, and Florida are the top three states with the most Dominos stores in the United States. Based on population, these are the three largest states in the continental United States. Orlando ranks seventh with a total of 27 Dominos stores. First place goes to Houston with 64 stores, and second place goes to San Antonio with almost half the number of stores as Houston.
