Chris Loves Julia releases DIY-friendly wallpapers on Wallpops

When I first saw DIYer Leah Hodson's Calacatta Viola marble-clad powder room, I was blown away by how luxurious the small space was. Then I realized the walls weren't marble at all. They were covered in a mural designed to look like real stone. Mic drop.

Hodson lives in the UK, so naturally she chose products from European brand Belarte Studio. Where can you get realistic faux marble wallpaper in the US? Chris and Julia Markham, the renovators behind Chris Loves Julia, must have had the same idea. This month, they partnered with WallPops to launch a collection of peel-and-stick wallpapers, including their Jade Print, which looks like real stone.

This isn't the first time the Markhams have managed to recreate the look of marble on a 2D surface: about a year ago, the design duo created an assortment of marble-look adhesive vinyl floor tiles for WallPops' sister company, FloorPops. The tiles are incredibly easy to apply, with no grout or trowel required, and this latest offering is no exception.

Jade Wall Treatment comes in two colors: gray for those who want to achieve the marbled look of Pietra Gray, and green for those who prefer Verde Indio. Each roll is 20.5 inches wide and 18 feet long, making one order affordable enough to cover a 30-square-foot room. And when it's time to redecorate — or move out if you're renting — the brand touts that it won't leave a sticky residue behind when you pull up to peel the paper off. We love a clean hideaway.
